He continued: "It was great. 50 years I’ve been doing this, next month, and I am so fortunate.
“If you think back to Swap Shop and then Telly Addicts, Noel’s House Party, Deal or No Deal, I’ve had a lot of hits and I’m so grateful for it.
“It's a fabulous format, a wonderful format and I think they should find somebody who can bring a different aspect to it, a different angle and definitely, definitely bring it back. I wouldn’t wait. If they could afford it.”
