Romesh will be taking over from Anne Robinson for the reboot of The Weakest Link for his second series.
Anne presented the show from 2000 for 17 years on the BBC.
Upon renewing his role he announced: "I'm delighted to be doing another series, partly because it's a fun show and the response has been amazing."
He added: "But, mainly to avoid 'Turns out Romesh was The Weakest Link' headlines."
