EastEnders spoilers: Jack and Denise's relationship on the rocks as Amy causes tension

[-WATCH UK & US TV LIVE-]

EastEnders icon Jack Branning (played by Scott Maslen) has been struggling to get close to his daughter Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) over the last couple of weeks. He recently found out that she has been seeing Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) after catching them in her bedroom together. Trying to control her life and who she sees has begun to take a toll on their relationship and it looks as if it has moved to his relationship with Denise. In upcoming scenes, Jack lashes out at Denise for trying to help Amy, but could he have taken it too far, pushing Denise away for good?

Official spoilers reveal Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen) blanks Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) when she tries to make conversation.

Jack arranges a belated birthday dinner for Amy, who refuses to leave her room on the day itself.

Sam wants to blag an invite to build bridges with Ricky, but Denise Fox (Diane Parish) tells her she's not welcome.

Later, Amy ends up arguing with Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), Denzel and Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) about the rumours swirling around the school.

Elsewhere, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has some words of wisdom for Denzel, who is struggling to cope with the unfolding situation with Amy and the gossip.

Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson( wishes he could reach through to his son as easily as Patrick has done, feeling out of the loop in his life.

After a heated argument, Jack is hurt when Amy tells him to stay out of her life, with Denise begging him to tread more carefully.

Later, Jack and Denise go to Amy's school to talk to Mrs Larkham (Kyla Frye) about Amy's problems and the rumours that have been spread.

Jack is fixated on Denzel and wants to know if Amy's changed since he arrived, a line of questioning Denise tries to shut down.

At the salon, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) can see something is up with Denise, who tells her the truth that she is worried that Jack's interfering with Amy and Denzel could make things worse.

In The Vic, Jack confronts Howie and demands Denzel stays away from Amy, but things take a turn for the worst when Jack punches Howie.

As Denise and Kim walk in on the chaos, she tries to calm Jack down but is unsuccessful, before he makes it clear that Amy is his daughter, not hers.

Back at the Trueman household, the internet is down, so Patrick and Howie convince Denzel to play dominoes to pass the time.

The conversation turns to Amy, and Denzel talks about his complicated feelings for her and doesn't know how to deal with them.

Kim breaks the mood by storming in to turn the router back on, and Denzel realises the men tricked him into talking about his feelings.

Has Jack just caused more trouble for himself by lashing out at Denise for trying to help? Will she forgive him or is this the last straw?
