Katie Price and Harvey are filming third candid documentary on her son's life

Katie Price announced she and her son Harvey are working on filming a third documentary after the success of the first two.

The former glamour model, 44, assisted with Harvey's first two programmes, including Katie Price : Harvey and Me and Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next.

Harvey and Me explored Katie and Harvey navigating a crucial year of his life as he turned 18 years old.

Last year, the second instalment was released and followed Harvey's transition to a more independent life.

Viewers got to see how he and Katie dealt with the huge changes when he moved to a speciality college.

The documentaries were a huge hit but they lost out to Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway's documentaries about her husband Derek Draper at the National Television Awards.

In a recent interview with Women's Radio Station, Katie shared that documentary three was in the works but didn't share the name of it.

Katie first discussed the possibility of a third documentary in early 2021.

The glamour model said her son, who has complex needs stemming from a variety of medical conditions including autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, already far exceeded all her expectations.

“They’re filming a part three, so we'll find out,” she said.

“I couldn't sit here and say, ‘Oh, I hope Harvey's like this’ – because I've done that all my life and he's done more than I ever thought.

"They’re filming a part three, so we'll find out,” she said.

The raw documentary saw Harvey struggle when he first entered his new college digs, but one scene, in particular, struck viewers as it showed Harvey becoming frustrated during his first couple of days and smashing up the college shop.

After calming him down and bringing him back into the moment by helping him take deep breaths and telling him to 'use his words', they reminded him that leaving his dorm room is important.

“Sometimes, Harvey does need to break something,” his carer told the cameras.

“In that case, we can only keep Harvey as safe as possible. We let him break that item and then we remove it because for Harvey, that's when it's over. That's when it's finished.”

Fans took to social media to praise the care staff, with one writing: “Only certain people could do this job. They’re angels and deserve so much more.“

Another tweeted: “Those people have the patience of saints.”

A fellow social media user wrote: “This is the recognition health and social care want.”
