Love Island viewers were left furious with Casey as the callout of the Casa Amor recoupling rocked the main villa.
Claudia had a number of questions for Casey after it was revealed he had explored a connection with another girl during the Casa Amor stint.
After the dramatic recoupling at the firepit, Claudia pulled Casey and asked: “So talk me through the girl, or girls, however many girls you decided to kiss whilst I was away.”
Casey then jokily explained how one of the bombshells, Cynthia, had straddled him while they kissed on the terrace.
However, he appeared to spin it that Cynthia had cornered him and been the instigator, while also neglecting to mention his other behaviour during the split villa stint.
Taking to Twitter, Love Island fans slammed: “Casey lying through his damn teeth. You will be dealt with sir.”
A second wrote: “Wow... Casey what a d*******. I never saw this man blush the way he blushed when he was with Cynthia. Now he's downplaying his time with her. He left Sanam for Cynthia... SHM.”
A third wrote: “Casey boy you had part initiating the straddle come on now,” as another echoed: “Swear Casey said “come here then” or something???"
Another added: “Why is Casey making it seem like Cynthia cornered him against his will don’t piss me off.”
“Casey you're such a 2 faced liar man people are scary if they can be hypocritical and bare-faced this easy,” another added.
It comes after Love Island aired dramatic scenes on Thursday evening when the questionable behaviour of the girls and the boys were laid bare before all when the couples recoupled in the wake of Casa Amor.
Maya Jama returned to the South African villa to watch the carnage unfold, as each boy decided if he would stick or twist – before he found out what the girls in Casa had done.
First up was Casey, who decided not to couple up with Casa’s Cynthia, but instead stick with Claudia – the daughter of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner Carl Fogarty.
While Claudia was happy to see Casey alone, Cynthia was left emotional, prompting Claudia to ask if their situation had been “that deep”. When Casey said no, she laughed and in doing so almost triggered a fight between the Casa Amor girls and herself.
