Maya Jama divides Love Island fans with shiny figure hugging outfit on After Sun

Maya Jama divided stunned Love Island fans as she wowed in a figure hugging outfit on After Sun.

The television presenter fronted tonight's edition of the spin-off show, where she will interview dumped Islander Zara, whilst Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson will give their verdicts on a week of drama on the ITV2 show.

Maya looked amazing as she introduced the show, promising there was plenty to talk about. Talk soon turned to the new love triangle in the villa between Lana, Casey and Ron, after tonight's dramatic recoupling as Lana finally made her decision. She left viewers stunned as she opted to pick Casey over Ron, despite the latter being confident.

She wowed in bright blue trousers and an equally shiny top, but fans were left divided by the choice.

"Who dressed Maya today? They got it horribly wrong #loveislandaftersun #loveisland," one wrote, whilst another added: "Maya I love and support everything you do. You are possibly my favourite person but my God you're gonna have to work hard to convince me to love that After sun outfit #loveislandaftersun #loveisland."

A third penned: "Wow that outfit on Maya #LoveIsland," as a fourth wrote: "I guess Maya Jama actually can’t make anything look good coz those trousers are vile #loveisland."

Maya previously insisted that being the first non-white Love Island host was a "big moment for all of us".

Speaking toVoguefrom Johannesburg, the star said previously: "Growing up, I never saw an East African woman host a show, and no Black or mixed-race woman hosts such a big primetime TV show, other than June Sarpong. This is definitely a big moment for all of us in that sense, and I hope it just opens way more doors for other people from similar backgrounds and cultures as myself."

Before she started hosting the show, Maya admitted she had been a fan of Love Island "for years".

She said: "I've been a fan for years. It was the first reality show, other than Big Brother, that I made sure I was back at a certain time to watch and all my friends and family were speaking about. Everyone gets involved.

"Everyone has opinions - from the older people in your family to the younger ones. It’s just fun, it’s fun to see how people play out in different situations and wonder what you would do if you were in the same position."

The presenter is hopeful this year's crop of singletons are ready to get "stuck in".

Asked what makes a good Islander, she said: "Someone that’s looking for love, someone with a lively personality, somebody who is open and shares their feelings, but also someone that’s not afraid to keep their options open and test the waters.

"Just someone that’s willing to get stuck in and get fully involved in every bit of the experience and all the challenges. Make the most of it! And allow it to be a proper test and see if your relationship can carry on through that, rather than play it safe." - ChatGPT autoblogging and content curation plugin for WordPress
