Gogglebox favourite Ellie Warner has returned to Channel 4 and shown off her growing baby bump to delighted viewers.
The 31-year-old hairdresser was forced to step back from the TV programme last year after boyfriend Nat Eddleston was nearly killed in a car crash as he walked home from a night out in Leeds.
The bubbly Northern hairdresser announced the news that she was expecting with boyfriend Nat on Boxing Day, after a hellish year as Nat recovered from his near death accident.
Happily pregnant, Ellie joined her sister Izzi for their regular slot on the sofa to dissect some of TV's best bits - and viewers were thrilled to have her back.
Appearing alongside her sister, Ellie was back with her usual funny comments as the sisters watched programmes including Channel 4's 24 Hours in A&E.
In a colourful patterned jumper, black trousers and clear rimmed glasses, Ellie cradled her pregnant bump as she watched TV.
Before the programme aired on Channel 4, the sisters shared an update to their Instagram stories as Ellie captioned the picture: "We're back!!!"
Ellie announced the news of her pregnancy and becoming a mum for the first time in a cute Instagram post on Boxing Day.
Dressed in a brightly-coloured printed smock dress, Ellie placed her hand on her bump and wrote: "Belly full of Christmas Dinner".
Fans of the hairdresser rushed into her comments to share their congratulations for her and Nat on their happy news.
One wrote: "Ahhhhh, the secret is officially out, hurrah. Congratulations Ellie and Nat."
Another added: "Congratulations! Nat is looking well after the accident! Exciting 2023 ahead for you both all the best xx."
"Absolutely over the moon for you both after the drama of 2022," shared a third.
The happy news is a welcome end to last year after the terrifying ordeal for the couple when Nat was struck by a car whilst walking home after a night out in Leeds in March.
Ellie immediately took time off from her job as a hairdresser and her appearances on Gogglebox to be by her boyfriend's side, as it was reported he was on life support.
By May, he was at home and appeared to be recovering well as he was spotted doing some shopping whilst wearing a neck brace to help him recover from his injuries.
It's happier times for Nat and Ellie, as Nat appears to have made a full recovery as the couple prepare for their little one to arrive later this year.
