Since Virgin River season four came to an end in July, fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of the Netflix romance drama. Ahead of the season five premiere, actor Martin Henderson sparked a major frenzy as he dropped a major production update.
The last time viewers saw Jack Sheridan (played by Martin Henderson) on screens, he and his fiancee Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) learned they were expecting their first child together
This news came as a major relief for the couple, as the paternity of the baby was shrouded in mystery after Mel had left to implant eggs from her previous marriage.
With a happy ending for the couple, fans were eager to see the couple’s wedding as well as the other major plots in the drama.
Thankfully for fans, the cast and showrunners have remained open with viewers and provided constant updates about the season five production.

Viewers are also looking forward to uncovering Denny Cutler’s (Kai Bradbury) true motive behind mysteriously appearing at Doc Mullins’s (Tim Matheson) door.
Although he identified himself as Doc’s estranged grandson, many have questioned his suspicious behaviour after he was seen stealing medication.
Denny admitted to having Huntington’s Disease, but it doesn’t explain why he was also taking photos of Mel’s medical files.
