Coronation Street 's Damon Hay and Sarah Platt are tipped for an explosive affair, after flirty scenes this week on the ITV soap.
But the stars who play the pair have actually played a couple before in another hit TV series, while the storyline was a lot darker.
Tina O'Brien and Ciaran Griffiths found their characters getting closer on the cobbles this week, and now fans think they will be at the centre of a huge affair storyline taking place later this year.
But in 2011, the Corrie cast members featured in another show together on BBC series Waterloo Road, and their characters dated.
Ciaran once again played a villain in this acting stint, and his romance with Tina's character Bex was far from appropriate.
His character Dylan forced Bex to stay with him after recording videos of her, and uploading them to porn websites.
Eventually Bex left him and escaped to her mum's house, only for Dylan to target her sister Jess.
Bex was forced to get back with her vile ex in a bid to help her sister, but things reached a worrying point when he tried to force both girls to film a porn video.
After some dramatic scenes, Bex and Jess were rescued and evil Dylan was finally arrested.
Now, Tina and Ciaran are once again at the centre of a big TV storyline - with fans convinced a baby twist is on the way for their characters.
It comes after the news that Damon is set for a surprising romance this year, and that it will lead to huge scenes further down the line.
It's now been teased that Sarah could be the mystery woman, after the latest scenes on the show.
Speaking to The Mirror in December, boss Iain spilled: "He's a dangerous character. At first he might be seen as a more sophisticated operator than Harvey.
"What we discover in the not too distant future is that this polished veneer is masking something every bit as dangerous and as brutal as Harvey is.
"He upends a lot of people's lives and brings criminality to the door of a family that could probably do with moving on from their past, but suddenly, wham, they are right back in the mess again.
"There's loads of stuff to play with as he reconnects with other family members and their lives as well.
"As the year goes on, he's got this magnetic attraction for a notable high-profile female character on the show, who is going to have her head turned in a way that has very far-reaching consequences.
"I'm currently working on storylines for June and there's a build-up and then a colossal explosion in that story involving Damon and this love story that will be on air in June."
