Reese Witherspoon, 47, shared on Instagram that she was calling it quits on her marriage with Jim Toth after almost 12 years of marriage. The Hollywood star accepted that she and Jim had to make the “difficult decision to divorce” during this “extremely personal” chapter in her life.
Reese wrote in view of her 29.2 million followers: “We have some personal news to share.
“It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.
“Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.

The Hollywood star actually met Jim shortly after she had split with fellow actor Jake Gyllenhaal, 42.
She admitted: “It happened out of the blue. This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, and yelling at me.
“He was, like, ‘You don’t know me.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I know. I don’t know you!’
“Jim came over and said, ‘Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone’.
