A wedding planner had a very dirty day at work “sponging down a sobbing, naked bride” who had “gambled on a fart and lost in a big way”. To make everything perfect for her big day the bride had tried to fix some last-minute belly bloating by drinking detox shakes. But her plan went disastrously wrong.
And it became a day she will never forget for all the wrong reasons when she ended up ruining her £12,000 dress. She refused to let the issue stop her from having a first dance with her husband in front of their loved ones.
But things went from bad to worse and the couple ended up feeding each other wedding cake with "poo-stained hands".
The wedding planner was first alerted to the major problem when she heard the words "we have an issue" over her headset.
She shared the horrific details on Reddit, and admitted that what happened that day still make her cringe.
More than 5,600 people have commented on the post, with most users on the social media site being pretty "grossed out" by the turn of events and others labelling her a "hero" and a "champ".
The wedding planner says the bride had been quite the "bridezilla" from day one.
She had wanted the reception to take place in a historic barn at one of the family properties in the States, which caused several issues.
The chosen building had no water nor electricity, so the planner had to arrange for a bank of generators, and buckets of water.
It was also not big enough to house all the guests so she had to ensure there were enough auxiliary tents.
After hearing what had happened to the bride the planner told guests there would be a slight delay before heading to the loo to help her assistant, who was cleaning the bride off with toilet paper.
She says the bride had let out "a substance no human body should emit".

Writing on Reddit, she said: "I'm just looking at her manicured nails. Residue of diarrhoea are just embedded in her nail bed.
“I start trying to scrape the poo out with a fabric stain wipe."
But the bride insisted the night went on. Despite the disgusting smell that she brought out of the bathroom with her - which her new husband noticed - the newlyweds took their place on the dance floor to start their first dance.
The planner wrote: "As the groom spun his bride around, hand on her waist, he is squishing the poo up the insides of the waist trainer, up and out the back waistband.
"To our horror, we watch as an oily stain spread across the mid back of the gown.
“As we are still cringing from this, the groom sets his hand firmly in the middle of the poo stain."
With their hands stained with poo, the couple then fed cake to each other.
The wedding planner says she then took the bride into a support tent to try and salvage the situation.
She said she was left "sponging down a sobbing, naked bride, while I questioned every life decision that lead to this point”.
Five minutes into the clean-up, the bride was dressed again - minus the inner lining of the dress - and returned to the barn to celebrate her nuptials.
And the planner added: “Pictures from the event appeared in a magazine. Still, photos, away from the smell, were beautiful.”
