Emmerdale fans 'work out' Caleb Milligan's true identity in Zak Dingle paternity twist

Emmerdale fans seem to think Caleb Dingle (played by Will Ash) could have more than one connection to the village.

The businessman used his half-brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) as an excuse for his arrival, but his plan all along was to take down Kim Tate (Claire King).

Caleb has been working with his son, Nicky (Lewis Cope), who got engaged to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Betham), in a bid to take Kim's money and businesses.

However, one fan has come up with the wild theory Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) could be Caleb's real father - not Frank Tate (Norman Bowler).

Taking to Twitter, @LunaLocoJewels shared: "Remember when Zak made Mandy and Butch get married so he could keep hold of the Dingle c**shack, are we sure Caleb isn't really Zak's son? He just reeks of the same effed-up entitlement #emmerdale." (sic)

Other fans pointed out Zak's brother was also called Caleb Dingle.

Earlier this week, Caleb clashed with his son Nicky after the nanny refused to help him anymore.

Although, Caleb's threat soon changed Nicky's mind and the pair continued to carry out their plan.

Friday's instalment saw Caleb finally retrieving the information he needed from Kim's computer.

"What do you really want?" Nicky suspiciously asked his dad at Home Farm.

"If you had really talked to me about your sexuality..." Caleb began as Nicky cut him off: "Oh, God."

Caleb continued: "We might have found another way. I just always assumed it was a conversation you could have had with me."

"Yeah because it's a conversation you have never had to have," Nicky said as Caleb threatened again: "This Ally, he can't be around while everything is going on. You have got to get rid of him."

Despite the plan going ahead, fans still seem to think Nicky could turn on his dad.

@roscoeleebarnes theorised on twitter: "Really starting to hate Caleb. I hope Nicky teams up with Kim and screws him over #Emmerdale."

@Samanth22356123 claimed: "Wonder if Kim/Cain/Moira will end up bringing Caleb down together???? #Emmerdale."

"Do we think Cain or Kim is going to get the better of Caleb #Emmerdale?" @daisy_duguid added.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
