Tottenham season ratings as Harry Kane shines but five flops get 4/10 in dismal campaign

Rodrigo Bentancur - 7: Spurs’ campaign derailed after Bentancur’s season-ending injury in February. A new manager will rely on the Uruguayan.

Oliver Skipp - 7: Skipp was perhaps unfortunate to find himself left out of an experimental England squad by Gareth Southgate for next month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers. The academy graduate was one of few highlights during a dismal campaign.

Pape Matar Sarr - 6: Conte eased Sarr, 20, into into his team over the first half of the campaign and the Senegal international performed well.

Ivan Perisic - 5: Croatian Perisic underwhelmed after being brought in by Conte to add much-needed experience and versatility.

Alfie Devine - N/A: Teenage prospect Devine played the final two minutes of Spurs’ FA Cup win over Portsmouth in January. There are high hopes for a starlet who remains the club’s youngest-ever player and scorer.

Harvey White - N/A: Like Devine, the 21-year-old White featured for just a few minutes - appearing as a substitute against Crystal Palace. He played in 15 League One games for Derby during a loan spell in the second half of the season.

Matthew Craig - N/A: Scotland U21 international Craig was given 13 minutes off the bench in the final-day thumping of Leeds.

George Abbott - N/A: Highly-rated 17-year-old midfielder Abbott made his senior debut during the final minute against Leeds.
