While Rice's talents are clear for all to see, he's developed into a true leader on and off the pitch at West Ham. That was none more so evident than after the incident involving Biraghi when Rice took the lead in trying to calm things down with the Fiorentina players, who were understandably furious.
Even though he's just 24 years of age, Rice is showing all the traits of a natural leader - something Arsenal are in need of at the heart of their midfield.
David Moyes' future
It was just a few months ago that David Moyes' position as West Ham manager looked under serious threat. A poor domestic campaign had West Ham fans calling for Moyes' head, but he managed to salvage the season with their journey to the Europa Conference League final.
And it's now hard to see how Moyes could possibly be sacked after leading his side to European glory in dramatic style.
