Boy 'left naked and unconscious in woods after sex assault by two women'

A boy was reportedly left naked and unconscious in a woodland after being sexually assaulted by two women, Sussex Police have said.

The 15-year-old is now being given support by the specialist officers. Although police only launched a witness appeal today (Wednesday, July 5), the incident is alleged to have happened last month, on  Sunday, June 4, at around 6.15pm.

Police say one woman had dyed red hair and was six feet three. The other woman was around five feet nine with long white blonde hair and had a Merseyside accent.  Both looked between 18 and 20 years old.

Following the attack in Burgess Hill, Sussex, the teenager woke up to find himself without clothes and injuries to his head and body, said police.

A Sussex police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy reported being sexually assaulted by two women in Burgess Hill.  The 15-year-old reported walking along Cants Lane shortly before 6.15pm on Sunday, 4 June, then heading through a wooded area towards the World’s End area.

"He was assaulted by two women, waking up on the floor having had his clothes removed, with injuries to his head and body. The assault was reported to police and the boy was given support by specialist officers.

"Both women are described as being around 18 to 20 years old.  One had bright red, believed to be coloured, hair, around 6’ 3” tall and wearing glasses. She was wearing blue shorts and a black crop top, with pink Air Jordan trainers.

"The second had very long white blonde hair and was around 5’ 9” tall, with a Merseyside accent.  Anyone who recognises those descriptions, saw anything suspicious or has any relevant video footage is asked to contact police."
