Ronan Keating admitted to shedding tears on Saturday night following The Voice Kids contestant Niamh's performance.

The youngster took to the stage to perform an Abba hit, The Winner Takes It All, while she played the harp.

Ronan was the first judge to turn and was quickly followed by Pixie Lott and Danny Jones.

However, the coach put his hand to his chest and fought back tears because he was so blown away by the performance.

When chatting about her song, Ronan told the young contestant: "I had tears in my eyes".

"This is my favourite moment on The Voice Kids," The Boyzone star explained afterwards.

The youngster replied: "Hi my name is Niamh, I'm 14 years old and I'm from Northern Ireland."

"How long have you been playing the harp?" Ronan asked to which the singer stated: "Four years. I only started playing the harp in lockdown."

"Wow," Pixie chimed in as Danny added: "Are you kidding me?"

Ronan added: "It was just mesmerising, I had tears in my eyes. It was so beautiful."

However, after their pitches, Niamh decided to choose Team Ronan.

Fans also took to Twitter in droves with many admitting to getting emotional over Niamh's performance.

@722louise tweeted: "That was the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard, shame no one else can hear it on here."
