Chelsea are in talks to sign Newcastle target Matheus Franca from Flamengo.
That's according to multiple outlets after reporter Vene Casagrande revealed the Blues had open talks to sign the 19-year-old Brazilian prospect who is an attacking midfielder.
Newcastle have already submitted multiple bids for Franca - most of which landed in January - but so far, they have failed to make the breakthrough.
Chelsea are going big on young players from Brazil having already signed Vasco da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos.
They are also in advanced talks to land Santos' teenage winger Angelo Gabriel.
