Chelsea have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from MLS side New England Revolution, adding another name to their ranks.
The 23-year-old joins the Blues on a deal football.london understands is seven-years in length with an option of an extra year on top, with the transfer itself costing £12.5million in guaranteed fees and £1.5million in add-ons. The Serbian international answers Mauricio Pochettino's request of adding another keeper to the squad before the window closes.
Petrovic has impressed since his move to the MLS last April, managing to become a regular part of the New England Revolution lineup as well as getting the nod in the Serbian national team setup.
