(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 11 - Italy's Filippo Ganna won the silver
medal in the men's road-cycling time-trial at the world
championships in Glasgow in Friday.
The gold medal was won by Belgium's Remco Evenepoel, who in the
process denied Ganna a third time-trial world crown.
The 27-year-old, who is also a track cycling Olympic gold
medallist and multiple world champion, won the event in 2020 and
2021.
On Sunday Ganna clinched his sixth individual pursuit
track-cycling world title when he beat Britain's Daniel Bigham
in the gold-medal final. (ANSA).
