Should the Red Devils move for Guehi and he becomes a success at Old Trafford, he could be the latest of errors made by Chelsea after failing to notice his talent - in the same way that they were prepared to let De Bruyne and Salah leave before the duo went on to become Premier League icons.
Though there is plenty of work to be done on United’s end in order to sign Guehi, as first Maguire must be convinced to leave and a willing buyer has to be found. The England stalwart is prepared to fight for his place at Old Trafford and has already been accused of sabotaging his move to West Ham.
