(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 19 - World championship reigning champ and
leader Francesco Bagnaia on a Ducati on Saturday took pole
position for the Austrian Grand Prix, MotoGP class, on Sunday
and the Sprint Race scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the Red
Bull Ring in Spielberg.
The reigning world champion was ahead of Maverick Vinales
(Aprilia) and Brad Binder (Ktm).
The seventh fastest time was notched by Marco Bezzecchi, who had
set the Austrian track record yesterday in free practice. At 3pm
the Sprint Race is scheduled. (ANSA).
