(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 20 - Newly promoted Serie A side Frosinone
on Sunday signed Morocco's Italian-born striker Walid Cheddira
on loan from Serie B outfit Bari.
The southern Lazio team, which opened its top-flight campaign
with a 3-1 home loss to reigning champs Napoli Saturday, said
the 25-year-old centre forward or outside striker would be
available for next Saturday's home game against Atalanta.
Cheddira, who was born in the Marche Marian shrine of Loreto,
had a fine championship in the second tier last term scoring 17
goals and notching seven assists in 31 games for Bari.
He played for Morocco in last year's World Cup in Qatar
His arrival gives Canaries boss Eusebio Di Francesco more
attacking options.
