(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 19 - A statuette showing ex Napoli boss
Luciano Spalletti in his new guise as Italy manager has already
appeared in Naples' famed presepi nativity scenes.
The figurine, the work of master presepe maker Marco Ferrigno,
is on display on the southern city's presepe street Via San
Gregorio Armeno.
Spalletti, who led Napoli to their thirs Serie A title last
season, is shown holding a pennant with the sums "3,500,000" on
it, the amount of a get-out clause laid down by Napoli Chairman
Aurelio De Aurentiis, who has is own statuette alongside
Spalletti's.
The Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) is trying to avoid paying
the fee for the former Roma and Inter boss's services. (ANSA).
