Arsenal news and transfers LIVE - Ivan Toney move, Gabriel injury blow, Odegaard contract twist

It is now less than a week until Arsenal are back in action in the Premier League!

The Gunners have started the 2023/24 campaign reasonably well, securing ten points from a possible 12 before the ongoing international break. Next up for Mikel Arteta's side is a trip to Goodison Park, where they will take on Everton, who have been somewhat of a bogey team for the Spaniard since he arrived as head coach in December 2019.

But one player who may not be fit to face the Toffees is defender Gabriel Magalhaes, who was spotted nursing a potential injury after his debut for Brazil. The 25-year-old has provided an update to fans on social media after impressing for his national side against Bolivia.

In terms of transfers, Nicolas Pepe's contract has been terminated at the Emirates Stadium a little over four years since he became the club's record signing back in 2019. Declan Rice's arrival this summer has of course broken that, though.

With all of that being said, keep today's blog on lock throughout the day as we bring you all the latest Arsenal news, transfer chatter and lots more!
