Rob Holding leaves for Palace
Rob Holding has left Arsenal, joining Crystal Palace on a permanent transfer yesterday.
The Gunners signed Holding from Bolton Wanderers for just £2million back in the summer of 2016. But he fell down the pecking order in recent times, with Mikel Arteta preferring the likes of William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and Jakub Kiwior in central defence.
So, he opted to leave for Palace on deadline day, signing for a fee in the region of £4million.
Mikel Arteta explains Folarin Balogun transfer exit
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has explained why the club decided to let Folarin Balogun leave for Monaco during the summer transfer window.
Balogun enjoyed a stellar 2022/23 campaign on loan with Ligue 1 side Reims, netting 21 league goals in the process. That kind of form, combined with the fact that he is still just 22 years old, led to some Gunners supporters urging Arteta to give the young striker a chance this season.

Jurrien Timber injury update
Arsenal star Jurrien Timber has taken to social media to post an update on his current injury status, as he faces months on the sidelines.
The Dutch international joined the Gunners from Ajax for a fee worth roughly £40million, adding versatility and quality to their backline. Timber impressed in pre-season, featuring across the back four, before helping the north London outfit to a Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
