Arsenal player ratings vs Manchester United as Odegaard and Rice shine in explosive Emirates win
Arsenal completed a memorable comeback to beat Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium. Goals from Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus helped the Gunners earn a 3-1 win against United after Marcus Rashford's opener.
Here are Kaya Kaynak's Arsenal player ratings from the match.
Aaron Ramsdale: Could maybe have done a little more for Rashford's goal given that there was only really one place he could put it. Hardly tested aside from that barring the save from Martial. 6.
Gabriel: Brought aggression and physicality back into the Arsenal back line on his return to the side. This was particularly needed after the introduction of Hojlund who looked a real threat. 6.
Oleksandr Zinchenko: Gave Arsenal a lot more in attack than Kiwior the week prior. Very influential early as his inversion caused United problems. Faded a little on what was his first start since May. 6.
Declan Rice: Fantastic at intercepting the ball high to give Arsenal a real sense of purpose and tempo in the first half. Did this far less in the second period though, and the Gunners seemed to slow down as a result. Popped up right at the end when it mattered however. 8.
