Your morning Chelsea digest on Friday, September 22.

Ramsdale urged to leave Arsenal

Gabriel Agbonlahor has urged Aaron Ramsdale to leave Arsenal in January in order to retain his place in the England squad for next summer's European Championships. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has been heavily linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium following his omission from the starting lineup against Everton and PSV Eindhoven.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said: "Ramsdale will be in the horrors now. The Euros are coming he’s thinking to himself I’ve just played for England I’ve got a chance now.

"Now he probably won’t even get on the plane. Dean Henderson left Manchester United and has gone to Crystal Palace and he’s got a task to get Sam Johnstone out of the side.

"He has to go and play somewhere, it’s as simple as that. We said it about Phillips and Maguire and these players but I mean Ramsdale, you’d be devastated. He got his team into the Champions League he played a big part of it but football is heartless."

Toney price tag

Chelsea have been told how much it could cost to sign Ivan Toney. The 27-year-old was heavily linked with an exit from Brentford ahead of the summer but, after receiving an eight-month ban from football for breaching Football Association betting rules, a move collapsed.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Brentford are expected to demand in the region of £50million to £60million for Toney's signature. The Italian journalist confirmed that the striker wants to leave the west London club, recently appointing a new agency to take care of his future.

Despite having not kicked a ball since May, Toney has still been subject to plenty of interest ahead of his return to the Premier League. As it stands, the England international's first game back for the Bees will be against Tottenham on January 30, meaning Arsenal and Chelsea won't be given a glimpse of him back in action until the night before the January transfer window slams shut.
