Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes appeared to pick up some kind of injury during the ongoing international break.
The 25-year-old centre-half was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge during Brazil's 5-1 victory against Bolivia. After he was substituted late on in the match, he was seen holding an ice pack on his thigh - a huge worry for Mikel Arteta's side.
With that being said, football.london has rounded up everything we know about Gabriel's fitness below.
Expert opinion
Physical therapy doctor, Dr. Rajpal Brar, provided a brief update on his initial assessment of the injury. On X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote: "Thigh issue for Arsenal CB Gabriel Magalhaes - unsure if it's contact related or a muscle pull."
Brar later provided another update, adding: "Based on what multiple people have told me, sounds contact related. Overall good news."

Potential replacement
If Gabriel is out for next weekend's Premier League fixture against Everton, Takehiro Tomiyasu could be the perfect replacement to partner William Saliba in defence.
Tomiyasu, who is naturally a fullback, played the full 90 minutes of Japan's impressive 4-1 away win at Germany, operating as a left-sided centre-back. The former Bologna star has never played in that position for Arsenal, although his performance in Wolfsburg has impressed many.

Gabriel update
After the match, Gabriel took to social media to update his fans following his debut for Brazil.
The 25-year-old wrote on Instagram: “Only God knows how much I’ve waited for this moment!! So happy for the debut and the big win!! Come on Brazil."
There was no mention of an injury problem in his post, potentially suggesting he should be fit upon his return to Arsenal next week. Brazil face Peru in their South American World Cup qualifying clash on Wednesday, September 13 - which will give Gunners fans' more of an idea as to whether the commanding centre-back is injured or not depending on if he plays or is absent from the squad.
Injury sustained
Arsenal will be sweating on the fitness of Gabriel after he was replaced in the 85th minute and pictured with ice on his thigh on his national team debut.
Earlier in the game, the former Lille defender was on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from Bolivia's Diego Ibanez in the fifth minute. Ibanez's attempt to win the ball went completely wrong, striking Gabriel in the chest with his right knee.
