Richarlison left in tears
Tottenham striker Richarlison was reduced to tears after being taken off during Brazil's 5-1 win over Bolivia in their first 2026 World Cup qualifying match.
The 26-year-old was replaced by Wolves star Matheus Cunha with his side already 4-0 up on the night, but was caught on camera looking distraught on the bench as his poor form in front of goal continues.
Despite his goal in the Carabao Cup defeat to Fulham, Richarlison has missed a number of great chances for Spurs with Son Heung-min deployed in his place for the Burnley game, with the captain scoring a hat-trick.

Bissouma shines
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma continued his remarkable club form with his country with a fine solo run and assist in Mali's 4-0 win over South Sudan.
Bissouma has enjoyed a terrific start to the season in north London under Ange Postecoglou. He has been immense in all four of Spurs' opening games, forming a strong partnership with Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison.
While he has been so influential in building from the back, Bissouma has now shown the clear impact he can have in the final third.

Romero replacement amid injury worries
Cristian Romero could return from the international break with an injury amid concerns he will not feature for Argentina against Bolivia next week.
The World Cup winner has formed an imperious partnership with Micky van de Ven, but he could be set for a spell in the treatment room, however Ange Postecoglou has received an important message from his potential replacement.
Spurs purchased young defender Ashley Phillips from Blackburn in the summer and his inclusion over Eric Dier in the matchday squad to take on Burnley indicates his place in Postecoglou's thoughts and the teenager has now shown Postecoglou he can at least replicate one of the qualities Romero has shown this season.
