Ange Postecoglou press conference recap: Tottenham boss on Hojbjerg, Udogie and Sarr and win

Ange Postecoglou is holding his press conference following Tottenham's 2-0 Premier League win against Fulham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday evening.

Going into the game in fourth with Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool all picking up points over the weekend, Tottenham had the chance to climb back to the top of the Premier League and open up a two-point lead over their rivals.

Naming Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in his starting XI in the absence of Yves Bissouma through suspension, Postecoglou continued with Richarlison on the left of Spurs' front three despite having Brennan Johnson available for selection once again.

Needing Guglielmo Vicario to be at the top of his game early on the produce a fine one-handed save to deny Joao Palhinha, Spurs turned it on after and went ahead through Son Heung-min's expert finish from Richarlison's pass.

Having seen efforts from Destiny Udogie and Dejan Kulusevski blocked towards the end of the first half, Spurs got a crucial second on 54 minutes as James Maddison calmly found the bottom corner from Son's pass.

Our Tottenham correspondent Rob Guest is among those putting the questions to Postecoglou after the game. Scroll down for his latest updates from the press conference at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
