Arsenal vs Sheffield United LIVE - Kick-off time, TV channel, team news, live stream details

Welcome to's live coverage of Arsenal vs Sheffield United as the Gunners look to get a grip of their league form having dropped points at Chelsea last weekend. The Blades offer up a good opportunity to Mikel Arteta as they sit at the base of the table.

The game kicks off the first of the second quarter of the season after what has been an underappreciated difficult start to the new season for the Gunners. However, Arteta faces more squad challenges after he confirmed further injuries to his squad.

Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus are expected to be out for “a few weeks” having suffered a thigh and hamstring injury respectively. The manager will need to continue using the depth of his squad to respond.

Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz and Eddie Nketiah will be seen as the obvious alternatives. Arteta has favoured Nketiah and praised him for his attitude in training several times and therefore it could be the England international who gets the nod.

In midfield, Jorginho has covered Thomas Partey’s absence but for the visit of a relegation battler expected to defend deep, perhaps the Gunners will opt for a more attacking setup. Arsenal need to avoid any dropped points to stay in the hunt for the title.

Tom Canton is at the Emirates Stadium to bring all the build-up, match coverage and reaction. Updates to follow.
