Chelsea are set to face Brentford in an exciting London derby this weekend. The Blues, however, will be disappointed with their performance against Arsenal last week. After a series of defeats in both the league and Carabao Cup, the win was a much-needed boost for the team. Their last league victory came early in the season when they defeated Fulham 3-0.
The campaign has been frustrating for Brentford, with narrow defeats against Newcastle United, Arsenal, and a heartbreaking loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford. Conceding two injury-time goals to Scott McTominay was particularly gut-wrenching for the team.
Both Chelsea and Brentford will be eager to secure a positive result in this derby clash. Chelsea will aim to continue their upward trajectory and solidify their position among the top teams in the league. Meanwhile, Brentford will look to build on their recent win and climb up the table.
