Cole Palmer's perfect response to Raheem Sterling after Chelsea disagreement in Arsenal draw

Chelsea attacking duo Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling were involved in a minor disagreement during the Blues' 2-2 Premier League draw with Arsenal.

Mauricio Pochettino's side were awarded a penalty in the first half after William Saliba was penalised for handball. VAR sent referee Chris Kavanagh to the pitchside monitor and the penalty was awarded to the hosts.

Sterling originally took the ball with the intention to take the spot-kick himself but Palmer had an argument to step-up. Midfielder Enzo Fernandez was forced to intervene before Palmer was given the ball.

The winger sent David Raya the wrong way to open the scoring at Stamford Bridge. Mykhailo Mudryk doubled Chelsea's lead before goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard rescued a point for Arsenal.

Following the game, Sterling posted a series of images from the entertaining London derby on Instagram. He wrote: "Deserved more. We move on to the next one."

Palmer, who denied Sterling the opportunity to score his first goal since the 3-0 win over Luton, replied to the post in the perfect way with a blue heart. Any concern that there was any bad feeling between the pair was quickly put to bed when Sterling posted an image on his story with Palmer tagged.

Palmer has now scored two penalties in his last two games for Chelsea. The £40million summer signing has repaid Pochettino for his faith since coming into the starting XI three games ago, contributing to three of the Blues' last six goals.
