Gary Neville sends dangerous Man City warning to Arsenal and Tottenham after Man United win

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been sent a warning by Gary Neville after Manchester City thrashed rivals Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola's men were back to their best on Sunday afternoon with an emphatic performance. Erling Haaland's double and a Phil Foden goal moved City back to third in the Premier League table - two points behind Tottenham.

After falling to a 1-0 loss at the Emirates Stadium before the international break, the Citizens have won three straight games in all competitions. After Liverpool's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, there are only three points separating top and fourth place.

Arsenal extended their unbeaten start in the league this season with a 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United on Saturday while Tottenham made it eight wins out of ten games after a 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace on Friday night.

The title race is beginning to take shape and Neville, who has predicted the Gunners to win the league, has sent a timely reminder to Mikel Arteta and Ange Postecoglou's men. Speaking during the clash at Old Trafford, he said: "City needed this, they have not been at their best for the last few weeks and something like this will just get them purring again.

"Danger for Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and the teams battling with them at the top."
