Pep Guardiola lifts lid on Erling Haaland and Kyle Walker argument following Arsenal vs Man City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has spoken about the scuffle between Erling Haaland, Kyle Walker and Arsenal's set-piece coach Nicolas Jover. The Gunners defeated City 1-0 on Sunday afternoon in what was a fairly scrappy game at the Emirates Stadium.

There were few chances for either side before Gabriel Martinelli fired in the winner in the 86th minute, largely thanks to a heavy deflection from City centre-back Nathan Ake. After the full-time whistle, tempers flared as footage showed arguments and pushing between Haaland, Walker and Jover, who was previously employed at the Etihad Stadium before making the move to north London a couple of years ago.

Guardiola has spoken about the incident, remaining coy when asked in his post-match press conference. Regarding the clash, the former Bayern Munich head coach said: "I know what happened but I won't say anything.

"They [Arsenal] know it." It remains to be seen what exactly was said during the incident but either way, the Gunners will come away from Sunday very happy indeed.

Their victory leaves them level on points with first-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who sit ahead of the local rivals due to goals scored so far this term. But we will have to wait a little under two weeks before club football returns to action, with the international break now underway.
