Arsenal handed three potential injury boosts as Bukayo Saka spotted ahead of Burnley

Arsenal have been handed three potential injury boosts ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash against Burnley. Last time out, the north Londoners secured a 2-0 victory over Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League thanks to goals from Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka.

But Saka was forced off in the second half after picking up a knock, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta confirming that the 22-year-old is a doubt for Saturday's outing against the Clarets. "We want out players to play for their club and national team," the Spaniard said after the Hale End graduate was selected for England duty ahead of the November international break.

"B [Saka] didn’t train yesterday. Let’s see if he can make it tomorrow."

Defender Takehrio Tomiyasu was also withdrawn against Sevilla, coming off at half-time before Arteta confirmed that it was due to a slight fitness concern. Speaking on Wednesday night, the Arsenal manager said: "With Bukayo it was a knock Tomi was feeling something so we didn't want to take the risk so we bought Alex [Oleksandr Zinchenko] back and with the other ones hopefully they will be ok because we are missing a lot of players."

Meanwhile, striker Eddie Nketiah missed the game midweek due to an ankle knock that he sustained against Newcastle United last weekend as Leandro Trossard was given a chance up top in his place. However, Gunners supporters have now potentially been handed some good news regarding all three players' availability ahead of Saturday's fixture.

Saka, Tomiyasu and Nketiah were all spotted with the rest of the squad in a video posted online, possibly a hint that they will all be involved in the matchday squad tomorrow. Of course, this doesn't guarantee that they are fit but it is a good sign that they travelled with their teammates whilst long-term absentees like Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber weren't spotted in the video.
