On Sanchez, Pochettino continued: "We are so happy because the specialist say the evolution is very good. Today he was on the pitch, running. In the next few days, he will do some running to see how his knee reacts. It's a very positive evolution."
Meanwhile, Thiago Silva has been left in limbo over his contract situation, with Pochettino confirming that there are no discussions currently taking place with any players over extending their deals, even though the veteran defender can leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
