Liverpool troll fans over Caoimhin Kelleher 'injury' as Reds given major boost

The likes of Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch all remain absent but the squad is beginning to take some shape once again and return to normality, though Liverpool's fringe and youth players have performed admirably as of late.

Kelleher is one of those standout performers and is set for an extended spell between the posts, with Klopp confirming that Alisson will be out of action for longer than initially expected. "There is no real timescale on it, but it is a proper muscle injury," Klopp said last week about his first-choice goalkeeper.

"Different players recover differently. That is it pretty much. It is not a short one. It is not that he will be in contention for next week or something like that. We have to wait a few more weeks, definitely, for him. He is working in the gym, not on the pitch, it is a rather serious one but not a season-ending injury."
