Election mania already underway in Arizona where man was filmed taking a machete to a Trump sign

An Arizona man was caught chopping down a Trump-Vance campaign sign with a machete after plowing into them with his car.

Authorities are investigating multiple reports of a person wearing a white T-shirt, pizza patterned pants, white slip-ons and a baseball cap vandalizing political signs in the Fortuna Foothills area.

Witnesses reported a man damaging signs near East 40th Street and South Foothills Boulevard by running them over with a vehicle, kicking them over and slashing them with a machete.

Despite searching the area, deputies were unable to locate the suspect or the vehicle described by witnesses.

Under Arizona state law, damaging or removing political signs without authorization is a class 2 misdemeanor.

A wave of recent polls showing Donald Trump either gaining ground or expanding his lead over Kamala Harris has significantly boosted his chances in the upcoming November presidential election.

The latest DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners election model reveals that the former president now holds his largest lead to date. According to the model, he now wins in 65.9 percent of simulated outcomes, based on the algorithm's analysis of all possible data combinations.

The model's latest projections show a significant shift, with Harris's chances dropping from 61.4 percent to 48.7 percent in just two weeks. As Election Day nears, this trend suggests dwindling time for a turnaround.

Drama is already unfolding at the polls, as a criminal investigation has begun following the discovery of thousands of suspected fraudulent voter registrations in Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state.

The Lancaster County Board of Elections announced on Friday that staff members identified 2,500 potentially fraudulent voter registration applications that had been submitted to the election office.

Some of these applications included false names, suspicious handwriting, questionable signatures, incorrect addresses, and other concerning details.

At a news conference, Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams stated that two other Pennsylvania counties had also "received similar applications" and were advised to investigate. She declined to identify the counties involved.
