Meghan McCain called out Kamala Harris for sharing a story about her late father at an Arizona rally and threatened to reveal the 'actual' things he said about the vice president.
The presidential nominee claimed late Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain praised her when they worked together on a senate committee at a Republicans for Harris rally in Scottsdale on Friday.
She said they were 'going after each other' during a committee hearing but he later commended her, Fox News reported.
'I step onto the floor of the well of the Senate later that day — we had votes — and I passed by John McCain, and he looks at me, and he says, "Kid, come over here. You're going to make a great senator." True story,' Harris said.
However, the late senators daughter Meghan McCain, 39, posted on X slamming the vice president for invoking her fathers name.

'I know democrats want to reinvent history and turn my Dad into any illusion you guys need him to be depending on the political moment you need to b*****dize his memory for,' she said.
'But please don’t make me start sharing what I remember him ACTUALLY saying about Kamala Harris.
'Consider this my final warning shot, I will start spilling tea.'
Early voting is already underway in the crucial battleground state of Arizona and the Harris campaign has been looking to court Republican voters.
In September, the youngest son of the late senator announced he is voting for Kamala Harris while admonishing Donald Trump over his incident at Arlington National Cemetery.

John McCain's son Jimmy McCain (center) recently switched his party registration from independent to Democrat and announced he is voting for Harris
'I feel that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz embody a group of people that will help make this country better, that will take us forward. And that's really what matters at the end of the day – voting with your heart, voting how you feel going forward, and that's how I feel,' Jimmy McCain, 36, told CNN.
He recently switched his party registration from independent to Democrat. He has previously stayed out of politics, and cast his decision in personal terms.
Jimmy McCain - the latest in a long line of McCains to serve in the military - also tore into Trump for a report of a physical altercation involving a campaign staffer at Arlington National Cemetery.
Their mother, Cindy McCain, endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, despite his father's longtime Republican Party associations and stint as the party's 2008 presidential nominee.
