Saturday Kitchen viewers were left outraged by guest Kate Carter-Larg's outfit while she cooked some mac and cheese on  toast on this week's show.

Kate, who is the owner of St Andrews takeaway The Cheesy Toast Shack joined host Matt Tebbutt on the BBC show along with her husband Sam Larg.

But her choice of top raised eyebrows with some viewers who felt it was too revealing for a cooking segment on a morning show.

The business owner donned a low cut strapless burgundy top along with a pair of navy jeans and a brown belt.

Taking to X/Twitter, viewers wrote: 'She changed into that top to cook?!'

'I can't concentrate on the show for worrying about her top falling down. She's pulling and tugging it as it keeps slipping,' to which another viewer replied: 'I know... innapropriate dress code.'

'Wardrobe issues can definitely take attention away from the show itself. Hopefully it gets sorted out quickly so everyone, including her, can feel more at ease.'

'One guest dressed for summer'... 'Has Kate just arrived back from a night out?'

It comes after Saturday Kitchen viewers previously threatened to 'switch off' after slamming Lulu as the 'most irritating guest ever'.

Joined by Matt Tebbutt and Georgina Hayden, Genevieve Taylor, and Jason Atherton, the Scottish singers, 75, left viewers less than impressed.

Lulu ruffled feathers by frequently referencing her age and how her grandchildren keep her hip.

She also criticised the seasoning Matt, 50, used for his chicken and randomly broke out into song - namely Music by John Miles.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, they wrote: 'Jesus wept. Lulu is THE most insufferable annoying person to watch ever. @SaturdayKitchen';

They wrote: 'I thought lulu on Saturday kitchen was very loud and obnoxious and why did she feel the need to keep mentioning her age?';

'Lulu on Saturday Kitchen and being absolutely f*****g insufferable as usual';

'Saturday kitchen Lulu is 75 Just in case she didn't mention it. Scotland doesn't like her, just like Sheena Easton. Fake as feck';

'I know Saturday Kitchen is on every week but they can't have run out of guests already that they have to have Lulu on?';

'Lulu is responsible for the most cringey Saturday morning I've had for quite some time. SHE'S 75 YOU KNOW, AND IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC #SaturdayKitchen';
