BBC Countryfile star breaks silence after becoming new permanent presenter

TV and radio sensation Vick Hope is over the moon as she lands a new role as a permanent presenter on BBC's beloved Countryfile. Known for her dynamic presence on BBC Radio 1, the broadcaster is eager to delve into the rural charms of the UK alongside seasoned personalities such as Matt Baker and Anita Rani.
Vick gushed in a recent release: "I'm delighted to be joining the Countryfile team - spending time in nature has always been hugely important to me so the chance to learn ever more about the world around us from such beautifully diverse perspectives and such a passionate mix of people who live and breathe country life across the UK will be so special and enriching."
She is set to make her debut alongside Matt Baker, with a remarkable segment in Kielder Forest as it undergoes a transformation. The new gig offers an exciting homecoming for Vickan adventurous childhood backdrop, now her first filming locale.
Vick, who is married to DJ superstar Calvin Harris, is raring to dive into this poignant assignment, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Vick enthused: "I grew up not too far from Kielder Forest which is where my first filming will take place, and have fond memories of orienteering there as a child; the opportunity to return and champion an area that has meant so much to me as my first assignment is an incredible full circle moment - I can't wait."
Mark Beech, the commissioning editor for Countryfile, eagerly welcomes Vick to join the show's team.

Viewers can anticipate Vick Hope's debut on Countryfile, set to be broadcast on March 9.
