Pope Francis's health has suddenly worsed this evening.
Senior Vatican correspondent for Life Site News Michael Haynes reports: "FEB 29 evening: Pope Francis today had a sudden worsening of his health
"This due to an 'isolated attack of bronchospasm which caused an episode of vomiting with inhalation and a sudden worsening of his respiratory condition.' He had 'bronchoaspiration & was put on non-invasive mechanical ventilation, with a good response in terms of gas exchange.'
"Pope Francis 'remained alert and oriented, and cooperated with the therapeutic measures. The prognosis therefore remains uncertain.' Prior to the sudden attack, he had been 'alternating between respiratory physiotherapy and prayer in the chapel'.”
