UK snow maps show exact date 480-mile blizzard will hit 53 counties - full list
New UK snow maps show when a 480-mile wall of wintry weather could hit the country, affecting 53 counties in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
WXCHARTS weather maps, created using Metdesk data, show a white downpour hitting as far north as Wick in northern Scotland and as far south as Cardiff in Wales at midday on Tuesday, March 4.
The maps show that snow will fall the fastest in parts of southern Scotland just above the border with England.
Manchester, northern England, is also expected to see rapid snowfall. According to the forecast, the northwest of England will be the area most affected by the snow.
Much of central and western Wales could also see snow, while much of the country's eastern side misses out.
Northern Ireland, however, is forecast to be completely covered in white, with all six counties showing up white or purple on the map.

This comes as the Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind and rain this weekend, covering much of Scotland, western England, and Northern Ireland.
As for snow in March, the service does not forecast snow this far in advance.
The Met Office's forecast for February 26 - March 7 predicts changeable weather across the country thanks to an Atlantic weather system arriving from the west.
They add that heavy rain and gales could be a factor during this period, with the western and northwestern regions of the UK most impacted.
According to the long-range forecast, temperatures will be above average overall, but the north of the UK can expect colder spells at times.
