Furious GB News viewers 'switch off' as migrant debate turns heated

GB News viewers were left angered after Stephen Dixon and Ellie Costello held a debate about the recent findings on illegal migrants crossing into the English channel. According to GB News, 1,300 people crossed the Channel illegally in the past five days, which was discovered after it was revealed that a French ship shadowed one of the migrant crossings to the middle point of the English Channel before proceeding to radio the UK border force, who then bought them to Dover.

The presenters welcomed commentators Alex Armstrong and Scarlette MccGwire to discuss the accusation that France left British forces to intercept illegal crossings. Scarlette said: "Many of them have already come across the Mediterranean, I do not understand why they're so keen to come to Britain," as Alex interjected: "I do, free hotel, benefits, free meals a day, five-star hotel." As the guests continued to clash over the reasons migrants come to the UK, viewers took to social media with rage including one who penned: "Scarlett on again, time to change channels. She really does talk a complete load of tosh."

Another fumed: "Annnddd I’m off .. Scarlett your friend Nigel Nelson told us all yesterday they didn’t speak English.. Which way would you like to play it."

A third viewer raged: "Scarlet what utter tosh you spout! Stop putting this fool on your show."

"Scarlett argument dont stack up given what was in the news yesterday about speaking English. Other reason we pay a lot of money for interpreters. These people get more than our homeless. we cannot carry on with the current influx of people as a country," another stated.

As one viewer slammed: "Did I just hear right want Scarlet said they are good people flealing war and they do learn English. For God sake GB news stop having this woman on she making your program look like the BBC."
