Michelle Keegan breaks silence to address fans in first post after birth of daughter Palma

Michelle Keegan has spoken out for the first time since revealing the birth of her first child, a daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright. On Wednesday, the beloved actress revealed that she and her husband, presenter Mark Wright, had welcomed the newborn with a touching black and white snap of the baby.
The couple, who will be celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary this year, were inundated with well wishes from fans and their celebrity pals. Michelle confirmed that she and Palma had returned home from the hospital, which according to The Sun, was London’s Portland Hosptial, a Royal Family favourite. The scenic photo looked out the window of their luxury £3.5M home and shared a glimpse of celebratory foil balloons as well as a rainbow in the distance.
The former Coronation Street star also reposted her birth announcement onto her story and wrote: “Thank you to everyone for your lovely messages,” adding baby-themed emojis, including a pink bow.
Michelle and Mark named their daughter Palma, a tribute to the Spanish city close to where they own a second home.
The Sun reported that this was the same location for the couple’s bump shoot as they consider it their "second home" and they have made no secret it is their "favourite place" to holiday.
During a visit to Majorca in November, Michelle shared a carousel of images and shared: “Just a couple of days in our fave place before the Christmas build up begins.”
A source told the publication that the couple decided to shoot their pregnancy reveal on the beach during this trip.
They claimed: “Michelle and Mark went on a winter sun break in early November and chose to take the photograph there.
“It was taken on an empty beach by a friend when they knew no one would spot them. Majorca is like a second home to them, so it felt special for them to take that photograph there.”
As well as being named after the Spanish city, Palma's middle name, Elizabeth, is a tribute to Michelle's great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Kirwan, who was part of the suffragette movement.
