Cooking With the Stars viewers took to social media to express their disdain at the hygiene being demonstrated by the celebrity chefs. The ITV show, hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, welcomed former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy and Capital Radio's Jordan North facing off. They were followed by Jack Osbourne taking on TOWIE star Jessica Wright. Those watching couldn't help but notice their was an absence of hairnets and a lax approach was taken to jewellery.

Taking to X one vented: "#CookingWithTheStars One rule in any kitchen HAIR should not be hanging over food then hands forever touching it then food. Not hygienic #itv1. "#Cookingwiththestars I don’t understand how some people can mix stuff with their rings on etc," another added with a vomit emoji. A third chimed in: "No hygiene with this tart and her hair then ?#CookingWithTheStars." A fourth added: "How is Jess Wright cooking on #CookingWithTheStars with all her jewellery on, isn’t that a health and safety/hygiene issue? rings/bangles whilst kneading flour/dough? she is such a character!"

The six part series sees eight celebrities go head to head in the kitchen as they attempt to go from passionate amateur cooks to restaurant level chefs.

Each celebrity is paired with an accomplished chef who will mentor and teach them to produce delicious dishes that will be judged by the other professionals.

Natalie sailed through her round leaving Jordan toface the cook off. He found himself up against Jess who had failed to beat Jack's risotto in her round.

Both had to cook doughnuts as their surprise final dish and Jordan's were deemed the best meaning Jess now leaves the contest.

Next week's episode sees four more celebrity's take to the kitchen in the hopes of avoiding the dreaded cook off.

Reality TV star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, actor and comedian Hugh Dennis, author and interiors expert Kelly Hoppen and former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips will all vie to stay in the competition.

This episode marked Jack Osbourne's first TV appearance since father Ozzy's death on July 22 at the age of 76.

However, although his funeral was only held days ago on July 31, these episodes were filmed before he died, which explains Jack's cheery deameanour.
