My Life with the Walter Boys: Season two official trailer
Devotees of The Summer I Turned Pretty have been wavering for weeks between Team Conrad and Team Jeremiah.
Despite the Amazon Prime Video series featuring Lola Tung reaching an emotional conclusion last week, with a film now in development, supporters have shifted to another teenage drama for their binge-watching fix.
My Life with the Walter Boys debuted on Netflix in December 2023, adapted from Ali Novak's 2014 novel with the same title, which initially gained popularity on Wattpad.
The programme chronicles a teenage girl called Jackie Howard, who moves from Manhattan to countryside Colorado following her tragic orphaning in a devastating car crash.
Confronting the enormous upheaval and bereavement she endures after the ordeal, she now resides with the Walters, a household comprising nine boys and one girl, whilst she endeavours to adapt to existence without her relatives and discover methods to forge fresh friendships, reports the Manchester Evening News.

In typical The Summer I Turned Pretty fashion, the series focuses on love triangles, romance and friendship.
It stars Nikki Rodriguez as 15-year-old Jackie, Noah LaLonde as one of her love interests Cole Walter, and Ashby Gentry as the other, Alex Walter.
Though Cole is more mysterious and troubled, having had to give up his sporting dream as a quarterback after a career-ending injury, Alex is bookish and reliable.
"When a tragedy disrupts her life, a teen moves in with her guardian's big family in a small town and learns new lessons about love, hope and friendship," the synopsis teases.
One fan praised: "My life with the Walter boys is one of the most amazing and captivating series I have ever watched!"
Another hailed: "I initially avoided watching this show because of the comparisons to "The Summer I Turned Pretty" on TikTok and Instagram reels. However, I finally started watching it yesterday and I was completely hooked. I ended up binge-watching all the episodes in one sitting and even forgot to eat lunch."
"I binged the whole show in 1 day since it was so good. Honestly i highly recommend it for teens or young adults (coming from a teen). It keeps you on the edge of your seat since we have no idea what Jackie's going to do," a third wrote.
Another fan added: "This show is definitely worth watching. It is not a groundbreaking story but it is a solid one and you can binge it to take your mind off things."
"When you're feeling warm and cozy and all you want to watch is some feel good teen drama, this is it. It's got the same old stereotypes but I'm not cringing at it, cuz it works for me. It has the vibes of "To All the Boys" or the "Summer I Turned Pretty" movies. If you love those , you'll love this too! I bet!" someone else said.
Season three of My Life With The Walter Boys was renewed before the second installment aired, with filming already underway as it is set to hit screens in 2026.
"We've got a lot of things to do," showrunner, creator, and executive producer Melanie Halsall told Netflix Tudum.
"It was a pretty big revelation at the end of Season 2, and we can't just ignore that," she added after the finale cliffhanger.
"She also can't keep bouncing between two boys. How we tackle that will be a really interesting challenge, and I'm looking forward to that."
My Life With The Walter Boys is available to watch on Netflix.
