It has been a firm daytime favourite for more than 25 years.
But one former Bargain Hunt contestant has lifted the lid on what really goes on behind the scenes of the BBC antiques show - including the surprising dressing down he received from bosses.
Craig, who featured in episode 20 of series 67, took to TikTok to share his experience after appearing on the hit programme with his husband Mark.
Recounting the day, Craig revealed that producers weren't entirely happy with their laid-back approach.
'When my husband and I go to antiques places, you just have a casual browse, you take your time. I wasn't used to rushing around,' he explained. 'The team told us we were too relaxed during the filming process.'
The confession gave fans a glimpse at the high-pressure environment behind the light-hearted competition, which sees the red and blue teams battle it out to make the most profit.

One of the biggest questions viewers had for Craig was just how long filming actually takes.
Rumours have swirled for years that teams spend several hours browsing before the footage is cut down for television, but Craig was quick to clear things up.
In response to a comment claiming filming lasts three hours and prices are agreed in advance, Craig confirmed: 'It genuinely was an hour,' adding that every price they encountered was real.
Another hotly debated topic is whether contestants get to keep their famous fleeces. Craig delighted fans by confirming that he and Mark did - and even joked: 'We're going to wear them for car boot sales.'
Craig also shed light on the application process, which he admitted took several months from submitting the initial form to hearing back from the production team.
Those who make it through the first stage are invited to audition via video call - sometimes long after their first application.
Reflecting on the experience, Craig was full of praise for the show, saying: 'Overall it was really good, I really enjoyed it, everyone was really nice.'

The BBC encourages applicants from all walks of life, with the only requirement being that both team members are over 18.
There is no upper age limit as long as participants are 'fit for the challenge' and, importantly, contestants don't need to be experts.
In fact, producers are looking for 'lively people who love antiques and collectables', with enthusiasm considered key.
The broadcaster also echoed Craig's point about the one-hour shopping time, explaining that while filming is a 'slow process', the strict time limit for browsing and buying is firmly enforced.
