In a TikTok post shared by @brycefishing_, who boasts 57,500 followers, revealed an eye-opening clip which garnered 1.5million likes and 6,600 comments.
His caption read: "This strike was absolutely mental! Crazy how this pike took it right at my feet."
And just what the caption reads, is exactly what happened.
The 15-second long clip starts with the tiny fish swimming to the man's rod before a huge beast comes out of nowhere.
Then moments later, the massive pike swims to the surface and nabs the little creature who was minding its own business.
It is believed the video was shot in the Netherlands.
Since it was posted, many people were equally shocked in the comments section.
One said: "That pike is huge." Another added: "Not many fishing videos show the end, nice content congrats."
A third commented: "That was beautiful and savage at the same time." While a fourth posted: "That's the biggest pike I've ever seen."
In the UK, if you are aged 13 or over, you must have a rod fishing licence when fishing anywhere in England for salmon, trout, freshwater fish, smelt and eels.
